Baseball Shows this Weekend
Seems like the shows this weekend where a real hit, on Friday the band played at the Tractor Tavern in Seattle and had some cool guest on stage. John Ramberg joined the band for the Minus 5 part as well as long time member of the band, but haven't been playing live with them since he moved to Paris, Ken Stringfellow. Also it seems Kurt Bloch from the YFF joined them throughout there set.
They closed their set with a rousing version of "The Sonics" Strychnine. here are some other clips on Youtube Last week the band performed for the Livewire radio program, be sure to visit there site as part of it will be included in one of their next podcasts. One of the songs they played was the newly updated "Harvey Haddix" with the inclusion of "Dallas Braden" of the Oakland A's to be the 19th player to pitch a perfect game. but a week later the songs is already out of date as Roy Halladay pitched one this week. If anyone feels like writing a review of any of these shows, please feel free to mail it to me. Posted on 30 May 2010 by Stoffel

Another month another Baseball Project Song
This month's song, recorded in New Orleans last month when Steve and Linda visited R.E.M. who were recording songs for their new album there, is about Philadelphia Phillies ace Roy "Doc" Halladay. The baseball project strongly believes he will be the first major league pitcher who will win 30 games or more in a season since Denny McLain who had 31 victories for the Detroit Tigers in 1968.
