Back Cover
Liner Notes WHAT IS A BACK COVER? Scott's back cover should contain simple ideas packaged in a neat orderly fashion. Everything should make sense, and should be alphabetized. Irrational concepts will be discarded immediatly, for they will only confuse potential buyers. The point of a back cover is to be informative and cheery. The artist should list who played on his record and what shoes they wore during the session. Did the sax player drink a soda while recording? The it damn well better be written on the back cover. The artist should include a wildly long list of thanks to everyone from his go-cart mechanic to the person who wipes his butt. WHO PLAYED ON THIS RECORD? Drums: Bob Dylan Guitar: Scott Produced by Malt Dimp WHO REALY PLAYED ON THIS RECORD? Scott urges people to buy this record even tough TAD HUTCHISON didn't play on it. It seems Scott ran out and hired Smithereens' drummer Dennis Diken. Unfortunately it was a good idea. It sounds great despite the fact that TAD HUTCHISON didn't play on it. Of course the other Young Fresh Fellows Chuck Carroll and Jim Sangster certainly played their little hearts out. Maybe TAD HUTCHISON had a cold or something. It didn't seem too difficult for Scott to get a second Smithereen, Jim "Tex" Babjak, to travel six thousand miles on a paper bicycle to play guitar either. I guess Scott already had enough of his "pals" gathered togheter to create a real "special" feeling and he didn't realy care for the services of TAD HUTCHISON. Blackie Rad of the Power Mowers plays the hedge clippers. Christy McWilson and Riki Mafune sing golden and i think Stick plays guitar and Conrad Uno produced the record, which had to be tough without the cheerful and disturbingly important presence of TAD HUTCHISON. The result is pure "magic". A lot of people don't like Scott, and frankly, I don't blame them. SCOTT'S PERSONAL LIFE Scott was born in a hospital and currently lives in an apartment. Scott invented foam and is a sculptor, mouse doctor, bank teller, musician, and a bus and ship driver. Scott has a beautifull wife of twenty years, Otis, and will soon be father of a bouncy orange basketball. His previous musical efforts include scoringa Broadway musical called "Drop the Anvil," a story about why people aren't happy. SCOTT'S SECRET AMBITION When I was born I decided to become |
